It's hard to believe, my broads, but my second born will turn ONE in a little over two weeks. I remember walking around on Halloween night last year, so annoyed that I was still pregnant (I was convinced I was carrying an October baby, she had different plans). I went to bed in a bit of a bad mood only to wake up at 2am because Number Two decided that All Saints Day was her birthday holiday of choice. Well, now it's time to celebrate and I'm embracing the fact that she is one day shy of being a Halloween Baby with a pumpkin patch-inspired party in a couple of weeks. But in case anyone else out there has a similar idea, I thought I'd give some sneak peeks for inspiration.
I've said it before. I'll say it again. The invite sets the tone...
You may have seen this post on instagram last month. I can't begin to explain how happy I am with these invites designed by SaraLukeCreative They're perfect. Envelopes and Washi Tape from my second home, Paper Source.
The Ideas And boy, are there a lot... Here is the idea board I created for the big bash. Links to all sources are in the link. (Spoiler Alert: It's a lot of Target, Paper Source & Michaels). One thing to note: the spray painted and mod-podged pumpkin ideas come from the lovely blog of Sincerely, Sara D. Check out the tutorial HERE.
Despite how it may look, this really is a simple design with lots of corals, pinks and oranges with black & white and gold sprinkled in. There will be picnic-like food served and activities will include pumpkin decorating for kids.
